Hello. I'm lea bryan, and I'm a communicator. I love connecting with people. I do that best by using design, photography, art, and writing to creatively communicate thoughts, express ideas, solve problems, evoke emotion, and elicit responses.

When speaking of his own work, Martin Kippenberger once said, "I am rather like a travelling salesman. I deal in ideas. I do much more for people than just paint them pictures." A good friend once told me, "Lea, I'm an idea guy. That's what I do." It reminded me of Kippenberger's comment, and I thought that his statement was simple and perfect. I told him he should put it on his business cards. So, here it is on my page. I'm stealing it. I'm an idea person.  

 

My interests, abilities, and professional experience are diverse. I was born in Memphis, Tennessee but spent my adult life marinating in art in Kansas City, Missouri.  I am a client-focused freelance artist specializing in graphic art, photography, painting, and up-cycled interior design. I have solid project management abilities,  and can respond effectively to rapidly-shifting project priorities and timelines within budget parameters. I am also an exceptional interpersonal communicator with imaginative problem solving abilities.
